The owners, the owners of this country don't want that. I'm talking about the real owners now, the BIG owners! The Wealthy… the REAL owners! The big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians. They are irrelevant. (Aside: The current puppet President was so green that he THOUGHT he could get rid of the lobbyists! This was one of MANY things he promised that he would not be allowed to do...the "CONSIDERING to ALLOW oil drilling off the coasts" was just something Obama said to pander all the while KNOWING that a PENDING MAJOR OIL SPILL IN THE GULF OF MEXICO would allow him the EXCUSE to shut down US DRILLING allowing OTHER COUNTRIES like MEXICO and CHINA to drill for oil without US competetion FOR OUR OWN OIL!! A deep drilling rig was MOVED FOREVER out of the Gulf to drill for oil in Brazillian waters for a company partly owned by Billionaire George Soros. Then Obama granted $2 Billion of taxpayer monies to "help" this along even more.) George Carlin continues: The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They (Wall Street, Big Banks, Golman Saches, defunct MF Global, etc,etc) spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying, to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I'll tell you what they don’t want: They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That's against their interests. That's right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago. They don’t want that! COMMENT: Carlin died years ago, but "Common Core" is doing to math and other school courses what LOOK-SAY reading did to 1970s onward US student readers, Common Core is (Foomanchewing)today's youth, making them learn little and hate school. Teachers unions protect bad teachers even pedophile teachers, to preserve union dues and degrade US education all they can. They advocate shorter days and only FOUR day school weeks. Where pep rallies shortened school in the 1960s, teacher meeting days ADD to this short day, OUT AT NOON...HOGWASH. Kids have little time in school, usually carry NO books home, usually NO HOMEWORK not even READING HISTORY so that ALL they learn is from the shortened days in school. Then people wonder why the DROPOUT rate is so high? (COMMENT/RANT: It is obvious that John McCain was chosen by GOP establishment BECAUSE he would LOSE AND because he was born in Panama to American parents. Somebody -- the masters of the GOP and the DNC wanted to run for President, MIGHT get accused of being a Kenyan since his publisher declared in the 1990s that Obama was a Kenyan, raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. Maybe Atlanta will reciprocate and PAY BACK Houston Reliant IF Houston is inundated by snow and ice...and maybe the proverbial MONKEYS will EXIT their warm places? Houston allowed refugees from Katrina to occupy its Astrodome and NOW taxpayers were expected to VOTE OK on $271,000,000 to fix up the Astrodome which they said,"HELL NO" to. The "powers that be" proceeded to sell off all the stadium seats to the highest bidder and the proceeds go to? HMMM they did not mention WHERE all that LONG GREEN evaporated to but it's GONE. They did not even announce how much they "lost" in bookkeeping. Seats were seen in a mall by tourists -- TWO CONNECTED ASTRODOME SEATS $500!! HMMM the Atlanta help indicates that Atlanta is Democrat mayored and their "selected from afar" new mayor COULD be Houston's lame duck mayor Anus Parker who has lots of five year street repair projects going all at once with rented street repair heavy equipment IDLING ALL OVER Houston because all this street destruction and traffic stagnation is --YOU GUESSED IT---going on all at the same time. The longer the projects require, the MORE KICKBACK from HEAVY EQUIPMENT RENTAL is split with Houston City Hall. Sane way to do it? BUY the equipment for ONE project, FINISH IT QUICKLY, then go on to the next one BUT TWO MAJOR Southwest steet ARTERIES have been clogged for miles DAILY while the CITY fools around S-L-O-W-L-Y replacing entire block-long segments of street and SELLING all the TORN UP concrete and dirt for a profit to be allegedly evaporated. IS YOUR DEMOCRAT-RUN CITY/TOWN in the same FIX? Sometimes ONE CREW works a few days then rotates to another of several other UNFINISHED STREET JOBS sites for a few days...occasionally a destroyed street is RESTORED opening up that city's clogged artery to traffic but this goes on ENDLESSLY DRAINING CITY after CITY of revenue. And we wonder WHY Detroit went BUST? The DRAIN $ GAME was ON and the people paying the taxes were FLEEING because of the TRAFFIC ruining REMAINING JOBS and bankrupting BUSINESSES cut off by destroyed roadways! The roots of corruption run shallow in this case. High amounts of saturated fat and cholesterol make red meat an unhealthy heart choice. A top sirloin cut of beef, raw, can run you 594 calories, 18.5g of fat (6.8g saturated fat), and 191mg of cholesterol. Eat this: Choosing the right cut of beef can help save your arteries.
